Pamela J Pringle

LLB Hons.


Admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in January 1989.   Admitted to the Manx Bar in June 1994.   Pamela is also a Commissioner for Oaths and a Notary Public.

From 1986 to 1992,  Pamela worked for large practices in London, Manchester and Liverpool. Whilst working in England Pamela specialised wholly in Commercial and Civil Litigation.    She was involved in numerous high profile cases proceeding in the Royal Courts of Justice at the Strand in London as well as in the High Court in Manchester and Liverpool.   

 

Pamela returned to her birth place, the Isle of Man, in 1992 to commence training for the Manx Bar with Dickinson Cruickshank (now Appleby). 

After qualifying in the Isle of Man in June 1994,  Pamela chose to continue to specialise  in Commercial and Civil Litigation.    She was involved in many offshore Commercial cases whilst working at Simcocks Advocates and Gough Advocates. 


In May 2002, Pamela decided to open her own Legal Practice, then known as Pamela Pringle Advocates.    Since then, as well as maintaining her expertise in Civil and Commercial Litigation, including Injunctive Relief,  she has developed one of the largest Family Law practices on the Island.  Pamela also personally handles Commercial  Property transactions, Licensing,  Planning, Wills and Probate and Criminal Law.


Pamela held various quasi judicial appointments including Chairperson of the Data Protection Tribunal, Chairperson of the Education Awards Tribunal and Legal Member of the Mental Health Tribunal.  She is still a non-practicing member of the Law Society of England and Wales. She works with a highly experienced, dedicated and efficient team of staff.
