Pamela was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in January 1989. She was called to the Manx Bar in June 1994. Pamela is also a Commissioner for Oaths, a Notary Public, and member of the International Compliance Association (having passed her International Compliance Association Diploma with merit in 2016). Pamela is also a member of the Isle of Man Legal Aid Committee
From 1986 to 1990, Pamela worked for large practices in London and Manchester. From 1991 she worked in house in the legal Department of Royal Life International in Liverpool as a Commercial Litigator. Whilst working in England Pamela specialised in Commercial and Civil Litigation and Family Law. She was involved in numerous high profile cases being heard at the Royal Courts of Justice at the Strand in London, as well as in the High Court and County Courts in both Manchester and Liverpool.
Pamela returned to her birth place, the Isle of Man, in 1992 to commence training to be an Advocate of the Manx Bar with Dickinson Cruickshank. After being called to the Manx Bar in June 1994, Pamela chose to continue to specialise in Family Law, Private Client work and Commercial and Civil Litigation. She has acted in many locally reported cases, particularly in the areas of Family Law and Civil Litigation.
In May 2002, Pamela decided to open her own Legal Practice which has grown into a thriving local practice aimed at developing and retaining repeat business from satisfied clients. Pamela is Managing Director and Money Laundering Reporting Officer and she manages all aspects of the business.
Pamela specialises in Family Law, Wills and Probate, Civil Litigation, and Commercial Leases and Contracts.
